Default Organic(DC)

This is the only type which is truly organic. This is because, in the far-hills of Nepal with no road access, chemical fertilizers are still not introduced and hence they have always been practicing the traditional method of farming. With no contamination, this is the purest form of food.

Organic(O)

These are farms or farmers who have been growing without chemical fertilizers and in an organic manner for more than 3 years.

Organic in process(OP)

These are farms or farmers on the process of going organic. They have stopped the use of chemical fertilizers in their farms since less than 3 years. It takes 3 years of no use of chemical fertilizers to be called organic.

We will be labeling each food under these three categories: DC; O; and OP.
