The most exciting bit is that we have harvested a tiny bit of honey from the bee- hives we set up in march last year. I tell you the honey is delicious with a beautiful aroma. We only took a tiny bit out so the bees have enough food to survive the winter. We have mustards and buckwheat flowers that can keep them going. Now we also plan to plant a couple of cherry trees to add blossoms and nectar for them.
Spinach (raya ko saaag) and mustard is everywhere.
Old potatoes from last years harvest as has been saved as seed for this year. They are already giving small sprouts. Soon will be planted.
Mix gardening with tomatoes, cawliflowers and some spinach!
Shitake grows and grows!!!
